Dr. Ritu Chitakki M.D. graduated with a bachelor of arts from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She received her medical degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. After medical school, Dr. Chitakki completed her residency in Family Practice at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Ritu Chitakki has been a family physician, practicing in the Laurel, Maryland area since 1997. Her passion for medicine began when she was just eleven years old which was when she decided to become a physician. Her philosophy is to take care of her patient’s well being by promoting a healthy lifestyle while offering comprehensive primary care. She considers herself incredibly grateful to have made a difference in each of her patient’s lives, most of whom she has known for several years.
